Mrs. Vitenko spent her high school years in Kyiv, Ukraine, where her parents are still missionaries. She graduated from John Brown University with a degree in biochemistry, and she earned her MEd in Science Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas (Arlington). She's been a teacher at MVC for three years.
“I love teaching science because in learning about creation, we learn more about our Creator. In that sense, science can be a form of worship, as we are constantly in awe of all that the Lord has done and as we see the way that he has made everything to work together perfectly—from the smallest atoms to the most complex creatures.”
