"I am a product of Christian schooling and firmly believe in the importance of it. Teaching is also in my blood! Most of my family members are educators. To me, nothing compares to the freedom of openly discussing my faith with students or the joy that comes with watching a child begin his or her walk with Jesus! I was raised by a mother who firmly believed in my grandfather Dr. Roy Lowrie’s quote: 'No child should have to take an academic penalty to receive a Christian education.' I continue to try to fulfill that legacy as I take my experience as an Intervention & Reading Specialist and provide students with targeted and individualized forms of support to fill any gaps or difficulties in their learning."
