Ana Buford

Spanish
Mrs. Buford is a recent graduate from Northeastern State University with a Degree in Spanish Education and a minor in Applied Linguistics. She has a heart for missions and has lived in Peru over two different summers. One of her favorite things is reading in her sunroom, and she has a pretty impressive collection of coffee mugs.

“To me, language learning isn’t just memorizing words and phrases, it’s developing an appreciation for new perspectives and communication. The importance of missions works hand-in-hand with this because, even though different cultures may have differing world views, the Gospel breathes life and love into those things in just the right way. God has a heart for every person, no matter the culture, and part of world language class is learning to love and communicate with those around us and around the world.”
