CURRENT OPENINGS:

SECONDARY PRINCIPAL: Our Secondary Principal carries educational leadership responsibility for students, teachers and parents in Middle School and Upper School, grades 6-12.  This includes engagement in multiple dimensions of the spiritual, academic, relational and emotional domains. We are committed to personalized learning for student success, understood as pursuing the fullness of God’s created design for each child.

A broad range of experience will be considered though competence is needed in all that matters for a fruitful and formative experience for students growing in academic excellence, spiritual maturity, personal character and relational integrity. Leading teachers so they can best encourage this student growth is a paramount priority. Building and honoring partnership with parents is essential as well in pursuit of these objectives.

ELEMENTARY PE TEACHER: This part-time position will teach PE to K4 through 5th grade. Teaching credentials and experience preferred but not required. As with all Mingo Valley Christian positions, relationship with the Lord and with students is primary. This position is full or part time.

UPPER ELEMENTARY TEACHING ASSISTANT: Assists teacher in student activity and instruction so Lead Teacher can offer more personalized learning for students. College degree required. Teaching credentials and experience preferred but not required. As with all Mingo Valley Christian positions, relationship with the Lord and with students is primary. This position is full or part time.

TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR: This staff/administrative position is the first line of support to faculty and staff for any technology needs—basic troubleshooting and simple fixes. This person is not expected to design or do in-depth management for the computer network or have extensive training in software and hardware, and will instead be the school liaison between faculty and staff support requests and our outsourced technology support consultants.

Detailed expectations:

·  Aware of audio-visual set-ups for classroom and large group assembly applications

·  Familiar with WiFi technology for laptop carts and classroom computer and desktop uses

·  Experienced in Microsoft network and Windows end user applications environment

·  Confident and persistent when meeting new problems to work toward effective solutions

·  Skilled at communication with technology users to help them feel supported and to help them grow in a certain degree of ability to support themselves in related future issues

·  Attention to detail on following up support requests and recognizing continuing problems for a particular user

·  Recognition of patterns of problems for multiple users in the school

·  Stays informed about broad trends and issues for educational technology

·  Likes to learn about and grow in personal ability to solve problems with technology
