Mingo Valley Christian is made up of a dynamic, accomplished team of professionals who enjoy a great sense of community with each other, our students, and our parents. We are currently accepting applications for the following positions for the 2018-2019 school year:

  • PART-TIME MATH/SCIENCE TEACHER: College Algebra (high school), Algebra 2 (high school), and Earth Science (middle school)

  • PART-TIME HISTORY TEACHER, middle school

  • PART-TIME SECONDARY TEACHER, trained and experienced in work with learning disabilities

  • ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, possibly combined with teaching and/or coaching.

  • FULL-TIME INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) MANAGER: We are a one-person shop for IT, using primarily Microsoft products. Some outsourced consulting help available for larger or more complex projects. Responsibilities include: network administration with savvy about protection from malware/intrusion and filtered protection of students from inappropriate online content. Hardware troubleshooting on laptop carts and desktops totaling about 400 devices. Help desk support to faculty and staff as well as limited help direct to students.

  • PART TIME FACILITIES MANAGER: We have a 10-acre campus with two buildings totaling about 35,000 square feet. We contract for custodial and HVAC maintenance. We are regularly in construction phases on the campus, under outside contract but interfacing constantly with the Facilities Manager. Candidate needs to have some maintenance skills but specifics are flexible. Mostly the job is getting the right people to help at the right time, from repair calls to subcontractors to parent volunteers. Attention to preventive maintenance is also a high priority.
