Mingo Valley Christian School was established in 1976 as a non-denominational, college preparatory, private school. We are currently serving students four years old through the twelfth grade. Since its inception, MVCS’s mission has been to serve God in partnership with parents to build faith, knowledge and character in the hearts and minds of our students.

| ACCREDITATION | MVCS is accredited by AdvancEd (formerly NCA CASI) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The school is also a member of the Oklahoma Private School Accreditation Commission (OPSAC), a consortium of private school accrediting agencies recognized by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| CURRICULUM | College Preparatory diploma requirements are: 4 years each of English, Math, Religious Studies, Science and Social Studies; 2 years of Foreign Language; 1 year of Technology; 1 year of Fine Arts or Speech. Total credits required for graduation are 27.
MVCS offers the following honors level classes: Advanced English; College Algebra; Business Calculus; Calculus; Spanish III. |

| PROGRAMS | The Citadel Leadership Program was established to recognize and develop servant-leadership attributes and skills. Benefitting from mentoring and instruction of a leadership class, Citadel members direct and manage student activities, lead multi-age house groups of students, and speak as representatives of student views to the administration. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| GRADING | Mingo Valley Christian School’s grading equivalents are as follows: 90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D 0-59 F MVCS does not rank its students. |
