Superintendent, Dennis Queen
Dennis Queen graduated from Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. He earned his M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He served with the United States Marine Corps for four years and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.
His first job in Christian education was in 1975 in Springfield, Missouri. Over the years Mr. Queen as been a teacher, coach, principal and administrator in several schools, including Bethel Christian and Christian Heritage in Oklahoma City, and Moody Christian and Mingo Valley Christian Schools in Tulsa.
He has served on a number of boards, such as the Scholastic Advisory Board. He has been involved in training with the Institute of Christian Development and the Weatherhead School of Business. He has been a school consultant and an ACSI seminar leader throughout the years. He has served in some capacity of Christian education for the last 33 years.
He is married to Jennifer and has three children - Aric, Ashley, and Alex.
Principal, Mark Reisner
Mark Reisner joined Mingo Valley Christian School in July of 2009. Born and raised in Missouri, Mr. Reisner moved to Oklahoma to attend the University of Tulsa where he earned a degree in Cell Biology. He advanced his education with a Masters Degree in Biology from Saint Louis University. And then, being led toward a career in education, he went on to earn a Specialist Degree in Secondary School Administration.
Before beginning his career as an administrator, he spent five years as a high school science teacher in the St. Louis Public School system. He then moved to Tennessee and into Christian education as a school administrator, for six year at Christ Classical Academy in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He returned to Tulsa in 2007 and served as the Elementary Principal at Regent Preparatory School for two years.
Mr. Reisner has been gratefully partnered with his loving wife Lori throughout his career. They have three children at Mingo Valley: Rebekah, Joshua and Nathan.
