MVCS - Faculty
MODEL FAITH:
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and
model Christian values, pursuing faith, integrity, spiritual
leadership, humility, and grace.
MODEL COMMITMENT:
- Be personally committed to achieving the mission and
core values of the school.

MODEL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Cultivate a spirit of approachability and accessibility
by developing effective communications with students, parents,
and peers to build relationships of trust and consistency.
- Partner with student and parent to bring resolution
to areas of concern and help the student succeed.
- Demonstrate the utmost in manners and respect and
require the same in return.
MODEL CALLING:
- Genuinely love students, appreciating their unique
God-given gifts and learning styles, holding them accountable
to high standards, and challenging them to think.
- Realize interaction creates the opportunity for both
teacher and student to learn from each other, and the balance between
the aspects of authority and respect can be kept intact in the
process.
- Believe that God has placed students in our lives
for a mutual purpose to develop opportunities to mentor and encourage
them academically, socially, and spiritually and to realize the
value in student input and insight.
- Have a passion for learning using innovative and creative
methods to inspire students to reach their God-given potential.
MODEL CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP:
- Fuse a Biblical worldview with every subject matter
using a variety of methods without compromising the Truth of
God's Word.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom applying discipline
in a reasonable, consistent manner and respond with Christ-like
attitude and action.
- Be committed to continued education, professional
growth, and training to better meet the needs of students and
changes in the academic environment.
